About Us

Sophia Strings is a flexible string ensemble based in North East England and Yorkshire, include Leeds area, available for your special event. In recent years we have delighted clients at weddings, corporate events, garden parties, birthday parties etc. We can offer amazing solo soprano singer with string quartet, also duets, trios, quartets and larger groups, to suit every budget and occasion.

We can also provide a vocalist if needed. We play a mix of popular classical music, light music and arrangements of popular melodies from films, musicals etc. We can often source or arrange your favourite songs and tunes if they are not already in our repertoire.

Sophia Strings provided the perfect music for the drinks reception at our summer party playing on the terrace. They were both professional and friendly to deal with and as expert musicians they delivered a flawless performance.

We had heard the string quartet a few years ago … and were very impressed, in fact we were so taken up by the high standard of music we asked them to play at [our] event. This was so well received we invited back to play in church and once again they gave a magnificent performance.
